Every customer reapplying for a new Ridacard must pay £25 plus the first month of travel upfront. As the subscription contract is for a minimum of one year and has a penalty if cancelled in the first year, the admin fee safeguards if a payment fails – i.e. it allows the customer to continue travelling so we can apply for a second payment a week later. If the second payment isn’t received, there is enough credit in the admin fee to cover almost 2 weeks’ worth of non-payment until the card is hot-listed.
Should the subscription be cancelled after 12 months, the admin fee will be returned to the customer in line with our terms and conditions.
